Hello everyone, my name is Elva. I am in my third year of college. Boy, is college better than dumb and dramatic high school. I am a very odd person you can say. It's weird because I am such a tom-boy, yet I love so many girl things. I like guys (obviously), I love pink, I like roses, I love dogs and wolves, I like watching some chic flicks and I occasionally the WB (the CW, whatever), and I love Love Songs. Yet, I absolutely love playing billiards. You won't catch me at a stupid club, but you will catch me at a pool hall. I love to shoot poolit is such a classy game, I really enjoy it. And I love hockey. (I mean which other sport lets you beat up your opponent?) I love Old School Rock 'N' Roll, and yes, some country. I would love to have a Chevy Silverado (redneck girl as my dad says) and a '68 Camaro. I like skateboarding (even though I am no good at it, I just like watching it and seeing guys get hurt and doing some pretty cool things.) I love guitars, solos, and drums. I love the piano, I took lessons for almost seven years. I just love music. I enjoy art and I like drinking juice, but I would take a beer if offered. And I LOVE The Simpsons and Lord of the Rings. For a girl, I hate shopping, I hate IT, I just like to buy and collect purses. I love beading, and jewelry. If I don't have jewelry on I feel naked. I love the beach. I just think it is so beautiful when the sun is setting or rising and it is hitting the ocean. Might I add, how romantic. One of these days I hope to learn to surf. Hopefully. This past fall I atcually got to visit Oregon and I changed my mind about moving there, creepy things happened to me there. Some time in my life I hope I get to travel to Canada, New York and Ireland, and there are other places. I want to live somewhere green! Though, I do love where I currently live. I love chocolate-- Reese's Peanut Butter Cup (is the best, EVER), OH YEAH! And Peanut Butter M&M's, actually any M&M's. Oh and brownies, yum. I love comedies(Happy Gilmore baby etc.), action, and drama movies, I love movies. I very much enjoy playing video games. Growing up with older bros, I had no choice to like good music and play video games and sports. I think it's my bros that made me the cool person I am. NO, I am not vain, I just think the influence of my brothers growing up really made me who I am today. So I like real rock 'n' roll, guys with long hair, (not every guy has to have long hair). It's just a bonus. So yes, I have a hair fettish. If a guy has a nice beard on top of that, I won't complain, I would just enjoy it. Dressing nice, and guys having their own fashion is another bonus. I like guys with class. Button up-collared shirts are very attractive. I like hair bands. Oh yeah, Steven Tyler, Jon Bon Jovi, Johnny Rzeznik, Dave Mustaine, and Axl Rose, they have beautiful hair. OK, I will stop there. Everyone knows that I love toothpicks, and I think it annoys my friends at school when I ask them if they have one all the time. I love bandanas too, though since high school I don't wear them as much, but you should see my collection. I like camping and I love astronomy. Just looking at how miraculous it is up there, that those objects in outer space exists. Ever since I was like five my dad and I have shared our love for astronomy. When I look through a telescope, I am just in aw. I think astonomy would be one of my most enjoying subjects. I collect post cards, sea shells, little dog figurines, bandanas, and coins. And I can't wait till I am 21, I mean I don't want to get drunk, I know better than that, plus it is immoral and a sin and it's stupid. It's just something I can do that allows me to make adult decisions. I was hoping to one day have a degree in architecture, but due to this postmodern society, I can't. If I have to choose, I choose family and God's way of life over architecture. I love architecture but I won't have anything that will add more stress and tension when I am older. There's enough tension in this world alone. Hopefully business works out for me. I am very different from a lot of people. I am a Christian, but not the "Christian" you might think. I observe certain days, that half the people haven't even heard of. I don't go out on Friday nights, and I don't go to the mall during the day on Saturday (I hate the mall anyways). That's when I go to Church. I couldn't imagine living any other way. When people ask me, "don't you hate it?" I am like, "no." I am glad that I don't eat pork and shrimp, I mean besides the fact that it is unhealthy and it is unclean according to God. I love my life, for the most part. There are times when we become discouraged and lonely, but that is just natural. We are human. We feel certain things, and we think certain things. We are weird. I am unhappy with myself sometimes, like how I look, feel, and what is happening in my life. Just like everyone. It's hard for me to go shopping and that's one reason why I hate it (plus, it's overrated and a waste of money). I mean they make these tiny little shirts and pants. Well for their information not every girl is a small and a size zero. I mean how is zero a size? I don't have the perfect body, and no one should ever judge me on that. I'm glad I am not a toothpick. Hey, I am me. Can't help it. I hope to one day have a blessed marriage from God, and children, I would love to have children. I can be a bit goofy, and corny, and not always the best of person I should be. I am outgoing though and I love communcating with people and getting to them. I thank God for putting up with me, and blessing me so much.

And I will never forget the summer of 2005, I went to a Church Camp, and it was the most amazing thing. God brought me there for a reason, and I thank him. I met some really cool, and awsome people. And I think it will lead me to some forever bonding friendships. It was just the best. EFTO!
